Master Bedroom · Wall Panels
A master suite earns a statement wall: wide timber panelling behind the bed, a dark charcoal finish, an upholstered headboard that runs wall to wall.

In short
For a villa master bedroom, panel the full wall behind the bed — wider than the bed and the bedside tables together — in timber-look WPC, wooden panels on an inside wall, charcoal panels, or an upholstered headboard wall. Plan lighting, switches and the TV wall opposite at the same time, and fix everything on battens with an air gap.
What your master bedroom asks of wall panels

We bring samples to your home, hold them to your light and measure every opening — anywhere in North or South Goa.
Start with the width: the panel should run past the bedside tables by a good margin, or across the whole wall. Then the height: full height in a tall room, or panels up to about two-thirds with a ledge or a strip of light above.
Integrate the headboard. Some owners want a separate upholstered headboard against the panels; others prefer the panelling or an upholstered section to be the headboard itself.
Real timber suits heritage interiors and inside walls in air-conditioned rooms. WPC and PVC with timber finishes cope better with outside walls and coastal humidity. Charcoal panels and louvers create texture and shadow; acoustic-style fabric panels add quiet in a room with hard floors and high ceilings.
A panelled bed wall looks best lit from above or the sides, so the texture throws shadows. Plan an LED strip in a recess at the top, or wall-washers in the ceiling. Bedside reading lights fixed to the panels free the bedside tables.
Villa master bedrooms often have stone or tiled floors, high ceilings and large areas of glass, and sound bounces. An upholstered section behind the bed, a fabric-wrapped panel above it or acoustic panels on the TV wall take the edge off the echo and make the room feel softer at night. A large rug and full-length curtains help as well.
If the master bedroom has a TV opposite the bed, a panelled TV wall hides cables and gives the screen a backdrop. Keep the material related to the bed wall, but quieter, so the two walls do not compete.
In Goa
Even in a well-built villa, an outside bed wall can take on moisture in a hard monsoon, especially if the house is closed. Fix panels on battens with an air gap and ventilated top and bottom, and avoid solid timber on outside walls near the sea.
Termites are a real risk in Goa. Treat any timber or batten framing, and prefer composite materials where the wall touches the floor slab.

FAQ
It depends on the wall and the look. Wooden panels for warmth on inside walls, WPC or PVC timber-finish panels for outside walls, charcoal or louvers for drama, and upholstered panels for softness.
Wider than the bed and bedside tables, often the full width of the wall. In a large master bedroom, a narrow panel looks undersized.
Yes — LED strips, wall lights and switches can be built in. Plan them before fitting.
Yes. Panels go up on battens over the existing wall with little dust, and switches are brought forward to sit flush. Built-in lighting needs an electrician alongside, which we coordinate.
Yes. Timber and battens are treated, and we suggest composite materials where the wall meets the floor.
