Flat & Apartment · Wall Panels
One panelled wall can turn a plain builder-finish flat into a finished home — and hide the wiring, the patchy plaster and the monsoon stains while it's at it.

In short
In most flats, one feature wall is enough: behind the TV, behind the bed, or at the end of the living room. PVC and WPC panels suit Goa's humidity best; fluted panels add texture without bulk. Keep the panelling slim so the room doesn't shrink, and fix it so the wall behind can breathe.
What your flat asks of wall panels

We bring samples to your home, hold them to your light and measure every opening — anywhere in North or South Goa.
In the living room, the TV wall is the obvious choice; it's where the eye goes and where the cables are. In the bedroom, the wall behind the bed. In a narrow hall or entrance, a panelled wall can make the space feel intentional rather than leftover.
Avoid panelling the wall with the window on it, or a wall that is already busy with switches and doors.
If a wall is damp, panelling will hide it but not fix it. Find out why it's damp first — a leaking pipe, a shared bathroom, rain getting in. Once the cause is fixed, PVC or WPC panels on battens with a small gap behind them let the wall dry while giving you a clean surface.
Panelling is a fixed improvement, so if you're a tenant, agree it with your landlord first. If you're a landlord, a panelled TV wall can make a flat look more finished in listings and protects the wall from the marks of changing tenants.
Apartment walls are shared walls. A bedroom backing onto the neighbour's living room, or a study beside the lift lobby, picks up television, conversations and doors. Acoustic panels will not soundproof a wall — that takes construction work — but they absorb echo inside the room and soften some of the noise coming through, which is often enough to make a bedroom or work corner noticeably calmer.
Hard, bare rooms in new flats also echo on their own: tiled floors, painted walls and little furniture. A panelled wall with a soft or slatted face, plus curtains and a rug, makes a new flat sound lived-in rather than empty.
Lighter panels make a small room feel bigger; darker ones make a feature wall dramatic but can close in a narrow room. Integrated LED strips above or behind a panel give soft evening light and draw the eye to the wall without needing extra lamps.
In Goa
Many flats in Goa show their weak points in the monsoon: a stain under a window, a damp corner on the ground floor, a wall that bubbles behind a bathroom. Panels can give these walls a clean finish, but plan the fixing so air still reaches the wall.
In sea-facing flats, use stainless or coated fixings for any metal trims or battens.

FAQ
PVC and WPC panels handle humidity well and are easy to clean. Fluted panels add texture, and PVC marble sheets give a stone look without the weight.
They can cover it, but the cause of the damp should be fixed first. Panels on battens with an air gap let the wall dry behind them.
Yes, with your landlord's agreement. Panels are fixed to the wall, so they're best agreed in writing.
Not if you panel one wall in a lighter tone with a slim system. Dark panels on every wall can make a small room feel enclosed.
They reduce echo and soften some of the sound, but they don't fully soundproof a shared wall. For a bedroom or study beside a noisy neighbour, they usually make a real difference to how the room feels.
