Master Bedroom · Motorised Curtains & Blinds
Long, heavy curtains across a wall of glass, a skylight blind you can't reach, controls on both sides of the bed — the master suite is where motorisation pays off most.

Time of day
Two layers on a double track: the sheer stays drawn for the day, the blackout closes over it at night. The most flexible answer for a bedroom.
In short
In a villa master bedroom, motorise the curtains you use every day and the windows you cannot reach: the blackout layer on the main glass, the balcony door, and any high or skylight blinds. Put a control on each side of the bed and one by the door, set a morning and night scene, and plan power at the track ends before the false ceiling is closed.
What your master bedroom asks of motorised curtains & blinds

We bring samples to your home, hold them to your light and measure every opening — anywhere in North or South Goa.
The best motorised master suites are planned before the false ceiling goes in. A recessed pocket hides the track, power is placed at each motor end, and wiring for wall switches runs to the bedside and the door. Retro-fitting is possible, but surface tracks and visible cables are the compromise.
We work with the architect or site engineer to mark motor positions, power points and switch locations on the drawings.
Most owners want a small wall keypad or a remote on each side of the bed, plus a switch by the door. Add a phone app and voice control if the house already has a home automation system — but always keep a simple physical control.
Scenes are where it comes together: night, morning, afternoon shade, and away mode.
Motorise the blackout layer on the main glass and the balcony door, any high windows and any skylight. The sheer is optional — it often stays drawn all day. Small windows in the dressing area can stay manual unless you want everything on one scene.
We'll be straightforward about which windows are worth it and which are not.
In a bedroom, the motor's sound matters. We choose quiet motors and set slow, soft-start speeds. Tracks are cut to length, carriers spaced for the fabric weight, and limits set so the curtain stops exactly at the wall.
In Goa
Villa master suites often face the sea. Choose aluminium tracks, sealed motors and stainless fixings. Keep motor ends out of the path of rain blowing through an open balcony door.
For power cuts, put the curtain circuit on the inverter or backup if the villa has one. When the house is closed, a schedule that opens and closes the curtains every few days keeps the mechanism moving and lets the room air through the glass.

FAQ
For wide or tall glass, heavy blackout curtains and high windows, yes. They make the curtains easier to use every day and protect the fabric from being pulled.
Yes. We fit a remote or wall control on each side and one by the door.
Yes. Timers or an app can open and close curtains on a schedule, which helps the room air and the house look occupied.
Yes. Motorised blinds and curtains can share one control system, so a single 'night' scene closes the bedroom blackout and lowers the bathroom blind together, while 'morning' opens only the sheer.
We can fit surface-mounted motorised tracks and battery blinds with minimal disruption. It is neater to plan during construction, but not essential.
