Where blinds handle the working floor, curtains bring warmth and quiet to the rooms where people meet: the director's cabin, the reception, the client lounge and the long glass wall.

A lining protects the face fabric from sun and salt, and makes the curtain properly private at night.
In short
Use curtains in an office where softness, sound absorption or full-height coverage matter — cabins, reception, client areas and floor-to-ceiling glass. Choose plain, durable polyester or blended fabrics in a neutral colour, a ripple-fold heading on a ceiling track, and a lining wherever the sun hits.
What your office asks of curtains

We bring samples to your home, hold them to your light and measure every opening — anywhere in North or South Goa.
On a busy open-plan floor curtains can feel fussy and gather dust behind desks. They come into their own in rooms where people sit and talk: the cabin, the boardroom, the client lounge, the waiting area by reception. These are also the rooms with the most hard surfaces and the most need for a little acoustic softness.
A common, workable pattern is blinds everywhere staff sit at screens, and curtains on the glass walls of the reception and senior cabins. Matching the curtain colour to the blind colour keeps the façade consistent.
Office curtains are opened and closed by many hands, and they hang in rooms cleaned by staff who will not hand-wash anything. Polyester and polyester-blend fabrics hold their shape, resist creasing and come through repeated washing better than pure linen or cotton. A linen-look polyester gives a natural texture without the maintenance.
If your building, landlord or insurer asks for fire-retardant soft furnishings, tell us at the start. We can source inherently or treated fire-retardant fabrics and give you the supplier's documentation to check against what they require; the requirement itself is set by them, not by us.
A ripple-fold or wave heading looks crisp and modern and suits almost any office interior. Pinch pleats feel more traditional and suit a heritage building or a lawyer's chambers in an old Panjim house. Eyelets are best avoided on wide glass; they drag on the pole and look domestic.
Ceiling-mounted tracks give the cleanest line and let the curtain cover glazing right up to the slab. For long runs, ask for a track with a cord or wand draw, or motorise it so nobody has to walk the curtain across ten metres of glass.
Stone, warm grey, oatmeal and charcoal suit most offices and hide everyday marks. Avoid pure white on a curtain that people will touch: it shows hand marks within weeks. A subtle texture or slub reads as considered without introducing a pattern the next tenant or rebrand will fight with.
In Goa
Goan offices with glass fronts get strong western light in the dry season and almost none in a grey monsoon week. A curtain that is drawn all afternoon from October to May may stay open for most of July. Choose a fabric that looks right both closed and stacked, because it will spend long stretches in each position.
When an office is closed over a long weekend in the monsoon, leave curtains open and the room ventilated if you can; fabric left drawn against cold, sweating glass is where mould spots first appear.

FAQ
Plain, durable polyester or blended fabrics in a neutral colour, with a ripple-fold heading on a ceiling track. They look tidy, stack neatly and survive daily handling and regular washing.
Full-length curtains absorb some of the sound bouncing around a room with hard surfaces, which makes meetings feel quieter. They will not soundproof a cabin; for that, combine them with wall panels and a solid door.
We can source fire-retardant fabrics and pass on the supplier's documentation. Check with your building or insurer which standard they require, and we will specify fabric to match.
Blinds if the cabin is small and screen-heavy; curtains if it is a larger room used for meetings and you want softness and full-height coverage.
