Time of day
Light-filtering roller fabric: soft, even light and daytime privacy. For a bedroom, choose blackout fabric and side channels.
In short
Fit a double roller system on each window: a screen-fabric blind for daytime meetings and a blackout or dim-out blind behind it for presentations. Use side channels or a deep recess fit where full darkness matters, and put the blinds on one switch if the room has more than two windows.
What the conference room asks of blinds

We bring samples to your home, hold them to your light and measure every opening — anywhere in North or South Goa.
Dim-out fabrics cut most of the light but let a faint glow through. That is plenty for a bright LED display or a modern laser projector, and it keeps the room bright enough for people to read papers and see each other's faces on a video call.
Blackout fabrics stop light entirely. They are worth it in training rooms, rooms with older projectors, and rooms where the projection screen faces a sunny window. If you are unsure, ask your AV installer how bright the screen is and tell us which wall it is on.
A roller blind hangs a little inside the window frame and lets light in around its edges. For a projection room, fit the blinds deep inside the recess, choose an outside-recess fit that overlaps the frame, or add side channels — slim tracks that hold the fabric edges and block the light gap.
A cassette at the top, covering the roller, closes the gap above the fabric and also looks neater in a formal room.
Cameras set exposure for the brightest thing in view. If the camera faces a window, everyone at the table becomes a silhouette. Lowering a screen-fabric blind on that window evens out the light so faces show, while keeping the room from feeling closed in.
Where possible, position the screen and camera so the windows are beside the table rather than behind the people speaking. The blind then only needs to soften the light, not fight it.
Meeting rooms with a glass front feel open but expose every confidential discussion. A row of venetians or roller blinds on the inside of the partition gives privacy when needed. Choose the same colour as the window blinds so the room reads as one design.
In Goa
A west-facing boardroom in Goa can be unusable for presentations between about two and five in the dry season, exactly when many afternoon meetings run. Treat that window first. In the monsoon, light is weaker and flatter, and a dim-out fabric may be all you need.
Meeting rooms are often kept closed and cool, then left off for days. Polyester and PVC-coated fabrics resist mildew better in these conditions than cotton or linen blinds.

FAQ
A double roller system — screen fabric for daylight meetings and a blackout or dim-out blind for presentations. It gives you both modes on every window.
The fabric does, but light leaks around the edges. Side channels, a deep recess fit or an overlapping outside fit close those gaps.
A light screen fabric on the window behind or facing the camera. It evens out the light so faces are visible without making the room dark.
Yes. We specify the same colour and finish so the whole room looks consistent.
