A two-seater by the window, a settee at the foot of the bed or a single deep chair for reading — a small seat that turns a bedroom into somewhere to sit, not just sleep.

Avoid: Anything you cannot clean in place, on a piece used every day. Rub count is one number among several — weave, colour-fastness and how a fabric handles humidity matter as much. We bring samples to see in your room.
In short
Most bedrooms in Goa suit a compact two-seater, a slim settee or a single armchair, made to measure so it fits the space between the bed and the window without blocking a door or a wardrobe. Choose a performance or cotton-blend fabric that breathes, raise it on legs so air moves underneath, and keep it off an outside wall in the monsoon.
What your bedroom asks of sofas

We bring samples to your home, hold them to your light and measure every opening — anywhere in North or South Goa.
The three spots that usually work are the window, the foot of the bed and an empty corner. By the window you get daylight for reading, but plan around the curtain so it can still close. At the foot of the bed, a low settee should be no taller than the mattress so the room still looks open. In a corner, a single armchair with a floor lamp and a side table is often more useful than a squeezed two-seater.
Leave at least 75 centimetres of walkway between the seat and the bed or the wardrobe doors. Measure the swing of the wardrobe before deciding on depth.
A comfortable two-seater for a bedroom is usually between 130 and 160 centimetres wide; a settee at the foot of a queen or king bed is typically the width of the bed or a little less. Seat depth can come down to around 55 centimetres for an upright reading seat. Because we make to measure, these are starting points — we draw the seat to your room.
Choose fabrics that breathe: cotton blends, linen blends, or a woven performance fabric. Avoid rexine or leatherette on a seat that sits in an AC room with sweaty skin on it in May — it gets sticky and can crack. Velvet is beautiful for a bedroom but needs airing in the monsoon.
Inside, ask for fillings that recover their shape and resist damp. Feather-blend cushions look relaxed but need plumping; firmer foam suits an upright reading seat. Raised legs rather than a skirt to the floor let air pass underneath and make it easy to mop.
A bedroom seat looks deliberate when it picks up something already there — the headboard fabric, a colour from the curtains or the rug. We can make the headboard and the settee in the same fabric so the room feels finished.
In Goa
In the monsoon, keep the seat a hand's width away from any outside wall, take the cushions off and turn them on dry days, and let the AC or a fan move air in the room. If the house is shut for the season, cover the seat with a breathable cotton dust sheet, never plastic.
Near the sea, choose fabrics with good colourfastness; a seat beside a sunny window will fade on the side facing the glass. A sheer drawn in the afternoon protects it.

FAQ
Usually a two-seater of 130–160 cm or a single armchair. We make to measure, so the seat is drawn to the space you actually have, including walkways and door swings.
Yes. We can upholster the headboard and make a settee in the same fabric, or recover an existing headboard to match a new seat.
As a seat, yes; as a bed, it suits occasional guests and children's sleepovers rather than every night. We will show you the mattress options on our visit.
Breathable cotton or linen blends, or a woven performance fabric. Avoid leatherette in an AC bedroom, and pick removable covers if the seat will be used daily.
