Showroom, Salon & Spa · Curtains
The fitting-room curtain a customer tugs closed fifty times a day, the curtain that turns a spa corner into a private room, the soft backdrop that makes a display look expensive.

Time of day
A lining protects the face fabric from sun and salt, and makes the curtain properly private at night.
In short
Use dense, washable curtains on ceiling tracks for fitting rooms and spa cubicles, lined curtains to soften and darken treatment rooms, and generous full-height drapes as backdrops for displays. Choose fabrics that hide handling marks, headings that run smoothly, and specify fire-retardant fabric for public areas.
What your showroom, salon or spa asks of curtains

We bring samples to your home, hold them to your light and measure every opening — anywhere in North or South Goa.
A boutique fitting room curtain is pulled open and closed all day by customers in a hurry. It needs to be opaque even with a bright light inside, wide enough to overlap the opening at both sides, and long enough to stop just above the floor with no gap a passer-by can see under. A ceiling-mounted track leaves no gap at the top.
Velvet and heavy cotton are favourites for their opacity and feel. Make the curtain about one and a half times the opening width so it closes fully with folds, and use a heading with plenty of gliders so it doesn't jam.
Where a spa uses curtains instead of walls — around a pedicure station, a massage bed or a changing area — a ceiling track can be bent to follow the layout. Choose a dense, washable fabric in a calm colour, and plan the curtains so they can be taken down and laundered on a regular cycle.
In enclosed treatment rooms, a lined curtain over the window adds softness and helps the room stay dim and quiet. Combined with a blackout blind, it gives full darkness for treatments.
In furniture, bridal and fashion showrooms, a full-height curtain behind a display focuses attention and adds a sense of luxury. Choose a neutral or brand colour, hang it from the ceiling, and use a heading that gives even folds. Lighting from above or the side brings out the texture.
Curtains can also hide what you don't want customers to see — a stock room door, a back-office window, a staff area. A curtain on a ceiling track is less expensive and faster than a partition, and can be moved if the layout changes.
Salons often prefer blinds for glare control, but a sheer curtain can soften harsh light and make the space feel welcoming from the street. Keep it washable — hairspray and product settle on fabric.
In a showroom, sheers on the side windows rather than the main display glass let you control sun without hiding the shopfront. Draw them in the afternoon when the light is harshest on the stock, and open them again in the evening when the interior lighting takes over.
In Goa
Goan humidity, combined with spa steam, means curtains in spas need frequent washing and good ventilation. Choose fabrics that dry quickly, and avoid heavy curtains in steam rooms altogether.
Spas that close in the low season should take curtains down, launder them and store them dry rather than leave them hanging in a shut, humid building. Shops near the beach should use aluminium tracks and stainless fittings that won't rust and mark the fabric.

Yes. A ceiling track can follow any layout, and washable fabric curtains create private cubicles.
It depends on how busy the spa is and how much oil and steam the room sees. Plan a regular laundering cycle with your team, and choose headings that come off the track in minutes.
