In short
For a home office, paper one wall — the one behind your chair — in a quiet texture or a small, low-contrast pattern. Choose a washable, breathable vinyl or non-woven paper that copes with Goan humidity, and avoid fine stripes and tight checks that shimmer on camera.
What your home office asks of wallpaper
See it in your home office
We bring samples to your home, hold them to your light and measure every opening — anywhere in North or South Goa.
Treat the two walls differently. The wall behind your chair is a backdrop: it should be calm, mid-toned and low-contrast, so your face stays the brightest thing in the frame. A textured paper in sand, olive, slate or a muted terracotta works well.
The wall you face is for you. It is where your eyes rest when you look up from the screen, so it can carry a larger, softer pattern — leaves, a landscape mural, a gentle stripe at a wide spacing. Keep it away from the camera's view if it is busy.
Greens and soft blues are calming over a long day; warm neutrals feel welcoming for clients who visit. Very dark papers look striking but make a small study feel enclosed and can make you look washed out on camera unless your face is well lit.
If the room is used by children, choose a pattern they won't outgrow in two years. A neutral textured paper with colour brought in by pinboards and shelves is easier to update than a themed print.
One feature wall is enough for most home offices. It keeps the cost down, gives the room character and avoids a pattern closing in on you from all sides. If the study shares space with a bedroom or a hall, papering just the work wall helps mark it as a separate zone.
Our wallpaper planner works out how many rolls a wall needs, including pattern repeat; we confirm it all on the site visit.
If a desk will sit against the papered wall, choose a scrubbable finish or fit a strip of panel behind the desk at keyboard height, where hands, cables and chairs wear paper fastest. Fix shelves after papering so the paper runs neatly behind the brackets.
In Goa
Wallpaper fails in Goa for one reason above all: damp in the wall. Before papering we check the wall with a meter and look for salt marks and flaking paint. A study on an outside laterite wall, or one shut up for the monsoon while its owner is away, needs a sealed, dry surface and a breathable paper; otherwise seams lift and the paper stains.
Inside walls in flats are usually straightforward. In both cases, a room that is aired and lightly dehumidified through June to September keeps its wallpaper — and its electronics — in much better condition.

Yes, on a dry, sound wall with a suitable paper and adhesive. We check the wall for damp first and recommend breathable, washable papers for Goa's humidity.
One feature wall usually works best — it adds character without crowding a small room, and it is easier to change later.
A scrubbable vinyl in a neutral texture or a simple pattern they won't outgrow, with colour brought in by pinboards and shelves.
Yes. We visit across North and South Goa, bring sample books, check and measure the wall, and quote for supply and fitting.
