Preparing the room
For anyone with one room that is not working, and no appetite for a whole project
Not every job needs to be a scheme. A single room that has gone tired, a bedroom that is too bright, or a living room that becomes unusable at four in the afternoon are all worth solving on their own.
Two to four weeks for most single-room work, depending on whether anything is made to measure.

The useful discipline here is working out what is actually wrong before spending. Frequently the problem people describe as needing new curtains is really a glare problem, a faded-accessories problem or a track-too-short problem, and each of those is cheaper to fix than a full replacement.
We will tell you when the cheap fix is the right one. It is better business for us to solve a room honestly than to sell a scheme into it.

FAQ
Usually cushions, a runner and replacing tired sheers — they cost a fraction of curtains and change how a room reads out of all proportion to the spend. The second cheapest is extending a too-short track so the curtains actually clear the glass.
Often not. A very common cause is track sized to the window rather than the wall, so the curtains permanently cover part of the glass even when open. Extending the track fixes it for a fraction of the cost of new curtains.
Yes. We would rather solve a room honestly and be asked back than sell a scheme into a problem that needed a longer track. It is better business over any reasonable timeframe.
Two to four weeks in most cases. Blinds are quicker than made-to-measure curtains, and standard sizes quicker still if the timing is tight.
